Kernel is focused on the future. At some time in his past and prior to MEOW, Kernel was injured and his right hind leg was amputated. Since his arrival at MEOW, he has also had dental surgery and at long last, we are pleased to say he is ready for adoption.
Kernel is a bit of a plus size cat and he will need a new pet parent who is able to monitor his diet and portion feed him to help stabilize his weight. In an ideal world, it would be beneficial if he trimmed up a bit which will make it easier for him to move around. His new home should consider things that would make Kernel's life easier, such as a litter box on his living level, the fewer stairs the better, or pet steps or stools so he can access the couch and your bed for cuddles and zzz's.
